Sherbet glasses

Aren't they pretty? This is Depression glass. It was made in the mid west of America in the thirties. The glassware that was distributed free during the Depression as promotional items in a cinema or with your sack of flour or at most would cost you about a nickel at a five and dime store. Very cheap to produce and it comes in such pretty such as pale greens, pinks and blues. It's pressed glass so is pretty sturdy - so you can find them around still. Think they're getting quite collectable now. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
